Crystal Encapsulated Technology (CET)
CET is superior to non-evidentiary (not admissible in court) breathalyzers including electronic type devices. CET specially formulated crystals are activated when the alcohol level is at or above .08% BAC. Once activated the crystals change color from a yellow to a blue/green.
CET VS Electronic Breathalyzers
• No Calibration Requirement (electronic sensors are contaminated after each use, effecting accuracy of results, and should be re-calibrated after each use. These sensors deteriorate over time, and render the device obsolete.
• CET does not require power, or use batteries, and lasts for years.
• CET Keychain is Durable, Shock and Weather Resistant (humidity and temperature can effect results from electronic devices)
• CET is ready to use when needed, and does not require any waiting prior to use.
The CET Breathalyzer in our keychain survived a drop from a Blackhawk helicopter at 500 feet high. No damage was sustained to our breathalyzer. We developed this technology for the military, and you don’t have to think twice about tossing our keychain over to someone, dropping it or even leaving it in the glovebox of a hot car.
