ABINGDON POTTERY (IL 1934-50) LA FLEUR FLOWER POTS - SET OF 4 - CATTAIL DEC

Description

Abingdon Pottery made numerous flower pots, including a line of ribbed pots called "La Fleur".  These were available in solid colors & with several hand-painted floral decorations & a cattail decoration - the cattail called "decoration J" in the catalogs.  Sizes were based on the rim diameter & were made in different years depending on demand.  This set of 4 La Fleur pots in graduated/nesting sizes with cattail decoration on 3 sides of each pot as shown includes:
Shape #149 - 3-inch - made 1938-50 - in-mold Abingdon USA mark & shape number on the bottom
Shape # 150 - 4-inch - made 1938-46 - postage-stamp Abingdon USA ink mark & shape number on the bottom
Shape # 151 - 5 inch - made 1947-50 - in-mold Abingdon USA mark & shape number on the bottom & a worn silver La Fleur sticker on the side
Shape # 152 - 6 inch - made 1938-50 - in-mold Abingdon USA mark & shape number on the bottom & a worn blue/silver La Fleur sticker on the side
While the La Fleur pots can be found, it is difficult to find all 4 sizes with the same decoration.  These are great for display or for potting.  Each pot is in very good vintage condition, with no chips, hairlines, or crazing.  Ships USPS or UPS.
