    Description

    Chitina Alaska is a census-designated place in Valdez-Cordova Census Area, Alaska. (126 people in 2000). It is located west of the Copper River at its confluence with the Chitina River on the Edgerton Highway, and junction with the McCarthy Road. There are a 20-30 buildings visible as well as a freight train with a steam locomotive. If you look closely, this has a wonderful view of the town reflecting on the town lake. AZO stamp box (1924-49). Scrapbook adhesive remnants on the entire back of the card. The rest of the card is very clean and nice.
